The first Japanese volunteer to begin his activities in the Republic of Tajikistan within the framework of the Japanese International Cooperation Volunteer Program (JOCV)
On May 17, 2024, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Nuriddinzoda Ahliddin Nuriddin became the first Japanese volunteer under the Japanese International Cooperation Volunteer Program (JOCV).
This Program is aimed at the financial and social development of the Republic of Tajikistan, which is carried out in Japan.
The first Japanese volunteer for the registered program is Japanese language teacher Ms. Miyamoto Reiko.
At the International University of Foreign Languages of Tajikistan named after Sotim Ulugzoda will teach Japanese for two years.
