Meeting with the President of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) Chang Won-sam

  

On September 7, 2024, within the framework of the instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, a joint meeting was held between the Minister of Transport Azim Ibrohim and the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin with the President of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Mr. Chang Won-sam.

During the meeting, the parties discussed and implemented the instructions and instructions of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon dated September 6, 2024, to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the direction of attracting more investment in the implementation of priority projects in Tajikistan, including in the field of transport, modern industry and technology, digital economy, green economy, agriculture, healthcare and others.

In turn, the President of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), Mr. Chang Won Sam, having accepted the proposals well, expressed his side’s readiness to increase KOICA’s funding in the future for the development of Tajikistan’s economic sectors and to support the country’s priority projects.
