Holding the International Investment and Export Forum “Khatlon Invest and Bokhtarfood Exhibition – 2024”

  

As part of the International Investment and Export Forum “Khatlon Invest and Bokhtarfood Exhibition – 2024”, a separate section was held by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan on “Promotion of innovative production in free economic zones of the Khatlon region”.

 

The event took place on October 17, 2024, in the Palace of Culture of the city of Bokhtar, Khatlon region, in which businessmen, investors, and guests from different countries took part.

The section presented investment opportunities in free economic zones, digitalization of the national economy and its importance, as well as the experience of one of the new subjects of the free economic zone. At the same time, representatives of foreign countries spoke in the work of the section via video link regarding the successful experience of digitalization of free economic zones.

The purpose of the event is to create favorable conditions for dialogue and familiarization with successful experience, expanding cooperation between government agencies, the private sector and foreign investors.

As a result of this section, five cooperation documents worth $32 million were signed between the administration of free economic zones and domestic and foreign investors.
