Participation of the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade at the meeting of the C 5+1 Working Group on Strengthening Economic and Trade Cooperation
A virtual meeting of the C5+1 Working Group was held today with the participation of representatives of the Central Asian States and the United States of America on strengthening economic and trade cooperation.
Nuriddinzoda Ahliddin Nuriddin, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, noted during his speech that the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, dear Emomali Rahmon, identified the priorities of the economic policy of the Government of the country in the field of trade as strengthening export potential, export diversification and trade facilitation.
Also, Nuriddinzada A. N. speaking about the interconnection of trade, interstate and external integration, adaptation of customs procedures in the Central Asian region and ensuring access to international markets, noted that Tajikistan attaches special importance to strengthening trade cooperation and integration in the region, especially the development of infrastructure of roads, railways and digital networks.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to improve infrastructure, simplify customs procedures, and provide a developed and mutually beneficial ecosystem for all countries of the Central Asian region.
