Preparing Sughd Region for Winter 2024-2025

  

On December 5, 2024, a meeting of the Republican Headquarters for the implementation of the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated March 30, 2024 No. 192 "On the timely preparation of the economic and social spheres of the republic for regular and effective activities in the autumn-winter period of 2024-2025" was held, where the preparation of Sughd Region, its cities and districts for winter was discussed.

The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the Headquarters, respected Usmonzoda Usmonali Yunusali.

The meeting was attended by representatives of industry ministries and departments - members of the Republican Headquarters, heads and responsible persons of the executive bodies of state power of Sughd Region, its cities and districts.

In order to study the actual state of implementation of this resolution, on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, a Working Group was created from representatives of the relevant sectoral ministries and departments, which made working visits to the Sughd region, its cities and districts. During the implementation of the above resolution and the preparation of the socio-economic spheres of the region, its cities and districts for regular and effective activities in the autumn-winter period of 2024-2025, including in educational institutions, healthcare, culture, transport, industrial enterprises, housing and communal services, power grids, etc., monitoring was carried out and the corresponding report was submitted by the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade to the Government of the Republic. During the monitoring of the Working Group, the identified shortcomings were brought to the attention of the participants of the Headquarters meeting by the First Deputy of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, Solehzoda A. A.

During the meeting, the heads of the executive bodies of state power of the Sughd region, cities and districts presented reports on the shortcomings and problems in each of the cities and districts of the region related to the financing of the purchase and storage of fuel, food and anti-slip materials, the preparation of energy facilities and other issues.

Following the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, Chairman of the Headquarters, respected Usmonzoda Usmonali Yunusali gave specific instructions to the relevant ministries and departments, executive bodies of state power of the Sughd region, its cities and districts to ensure the implementation of the plan for the procurement of necessary materials and the timely preparation of socio-economic spheres for regular and effective activities in the autumn-winter period of 2024-2025.
