Meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan

Today, at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, under the chairmanship of the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Solehzoda Ashurboy Abduvohid, with the participation of the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on Economic Issues, Hikmatullozoda Nematullo, deputy ministers, heads of structural divisions, heads of subordinate institutions, trade representatives in foreign countries, and employees of the Central Apparatus, a meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan was held. The meeting summarized the results of the social and economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan and the ministry's activities in 2024 and set tasks for 2025.

The meeting began with opening remarks by the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade, followed by a detailed report by Deputy Minister Vосidiyon F. S. on the results of the social and economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry's activities in 2024, presented in a slide show format.

Additionally, the heads of departments and subordinate institutions of the Ministry presented reports on their activities.

The Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on Economic Issues, Hikmatullozoda Nematullo, evaluated the Ministry's activities as effective overall, while also providing specific proposals and setting tasks to address certain shortcomings and gaps in the Ministry's operations.

Solehzoda A. A. instructed the responsible persons to fully and effectively implement the directives and instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, the Government of the Republic, the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the statutory tasks of the Ministry, as well as to eliminate shortcomings and further improve performance in 2025.

At the end of the Collegium meeting, relevant decisions on the discussed issues were adopted.
