Tree planting event organized by the leadership and staff of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, as well as its subordinate institutions, at Victory Park in Dushanbe

  

On January 25, 2025, based on the constructive initiatives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and the instructions of the Chairman of the Majlisi Milli Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mayor of Dushanbe Rustami Emomali on transforming Dushanbe into a "Green City", under the leadership of the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin with the participation of the staff of the ministry and its subordinate institutions, a tree planting event was held in Victory Park.

It should be noted that as a result of this noble initiative aimed at greening and improving our native country, especially the capital - Dushanbe, as well as expanding activities to improve the environment in a specially designated area of the State Institution "Victory Park and Forest Protection", 1,400 coniferous trees were planted on an area of 1.2 hectares.

Zavqizoda Z. A. noted that, as the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, respected Emomali Rahmon, constantly emphasizes, planting ornamental and shade trees, creating gardens and alleys, as well as landscaping have deep ecological significance and enrich the environment with clean air, which is the basis for the existence of life.

It was also emphasized that the selection of tree and shrub species suitable for the capital's climate, adherence to proper agro-technical norms, and the use of expert consultations during the planting process are essential conditions for the future growth of the trees.

The ministry’s staff has decided to make a significant contribution to the timely and quality implementation of the "Green Economy Development Strategy for 2023-2037" and the "State Program for Greening the Republic of Tajikistan until 2040", in line with the directives of the Leader of the Nation, esteemed Emomali Rahmon.

At the conclusion of the tree planting event, the staff of the Central Apparatus and the State Institution National Patent and Information Center of the ministry were instructed to continue the initiative of greening and improving the areas of our beloved country and actively participate in ensuring a clean ecological environment through planting and maintaining flowers and evergreen decorative trees.
