Meeting of the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan with the Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, residing in Islamabad

  

Today, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin, held a meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, residing in Islamabad, Jamol Boqir Abdullo.

 

Zavqizoda Z. A. emphasized the role of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, respected Emomali Rahmon, in strengthening stability and developing international relations, noting that the constructive policy of the highest leadership of Tajikistan has created a solid foundation for expanding cooperation with various countries.

During the meeting, issues related to the expansion of economic and trade cooperation were discussed. The parties expressed their interest in developing bilateral relations and highlighted the necessity of strengthening ties in priority areas.

Furthermore, Zavqizoda Z. A. noted that considering the potential of both countries in renewable energy, agriculture, and industry, there are opportunities for collaboration in developing joint projects, enhancing irrigation, and utilizing renewable energy sources.

In this regard, the parties discussed issues related to the development of bilateral trade and attracting investments, recognizing that expanding economic cooperation is a key factor in increasing trade and industrial capabilities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness to strengthen economic cooperation and implement joint projects, emphasizing their willingness to expand ties in various sectors.
