Meeting of the Minister and Director of CAREC

On 27 September 2016 in the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan was held a meeting between the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Mr. Nematullo Hikmatullozoda and the Director of CAREC Institute Mr. Kubat Umurzakov.Also at the meeting was attended by representatives of relevant ministries and departments.

During the meeting were discussed the issues of diversification and creation of economic corridors and clusters, cooperation in the sphere of customs and trade facilitation, development of transport corridors, multi-model transportation, logistics, and cooperation in the sphere of agricultural development.

At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed their willingness to facilitate the further development of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and the CAREC Institute.
