Tajikistan’s participation in Doha International Exhibition

On October 8-10, 2018, the first international exhibition of national products in the fields of light and food industry, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, home appliances and building materials, cosmetics, as well as vocational education and travel services with the participation of more than 300 companies from Qatar took place in Doha , Tajikistan, Kuwait, Oman, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, Azerbaijan and Jordan. “Talko Cable” OJSC, “Obi Zulol” CJSC, “Avvalin” JV and “Real” OJSC demonstrated at the exhibition of products of Tajikistan.

The exhibition hosted the International High-Level Conference “Towards Sustainable Economic Growth in Partnership with Qatar”, in which a delegation of our country led by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Nematullo Hikmatullozoda took part. The head of the Tajik delegation acquainted the conference participants with the investment climate, production and export potential of Tajikistan, priority and promising areas of Tajik-Qatar cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, energy, agriculture, mining and mineral processing, attracting investment, transport and communications, tourism and other mutually beneficial areas.

On the margins of the exhibition, business meetings and negotiations of representatives of Tajik companies with business community of Qatar and other countries interested in the development of trade relations and import of national products of Tajikistan took place.
