On August 5, 2019, the regular session of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission of Tajikistan and Turkey on economic cooperation began its work in Ankara. The Tajik delegation was headed by Co-Chairman of the Commission, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan Nematullo Hikmatullozoda.

Today, at the Ministry of economic development and trade of the Republic of Tajikistan with the participation of Minister of economic development and trade Nematullo Hikmatullozoda, Minister of energy and water resources Usmonali Usmonzoda and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany - Neithart Höfer-Wissing the ceremony of signing the agreement was held between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the government of the Federal Republic of Germany on financial cooperation for 2017-2019.

August 2, 2019, at the Ministry of economic development and trade of the Republic of Tajikistan was held a press conference according to the  President's decree dated September 15, 2011, №AП-1729 "On the organization and holding of press conferences in the ministries, departments, organizations and institutions, state government  of GBAO, regions, Dushanbe and its subordinate areas" on summarizing the results of the first half of 2019, a press conference was held on the results of the activities of the Ministry of economic development and trade and the results of socio-economic development of the Republic of Tajikistan for the first half of 2019.
