After the meetings and negotiations at the highest level between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, the ceremony of exchange of new signed documents of cooperation was held in the Palace of the Nation.

After the official welcoming ceremony at the Palace of the Nation, review of issues of friendship and cooperation between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan began at a tete-a-tete meeting of the Heads of State and continued in the meeting with the participation of expanded delegations from both sides.

On April 17, 2024, a meeting of the Joint Steering Committee was held at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade with the participation of heads of ministries and departments, representatives of specialized agencies of the United Nations (UN) - members of the Results Groups of the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework 2023 and consideration of the annual work plan of the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework for 2023-2026.
