Meeting of the official delegation of the country headed by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin with the Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), Ms. Rebecca Greenspan

On December 7, 2021 the official delegation of the country headed by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Zavqizoda Zavqi Amin met with the Secretary General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Rebecca Greenspan in Geneva, Switzerland.

The official delegation of the country was accompanied by the Chairman of the Committee on Food Security Fayzullozoda M. U., Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdurahmonzoda A.C., First Deputy Director of the Agency "Tajikstandart" Davlatzoda R., First Deputy Head of the Customs Service Tursunzoda A.H, Deputy Head of the Department of Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Muqaddaszoda F. and others.

At the meeting issues of economic cooperation between Tajikistan and the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), as well as an automated customs data system were discussed.

Zavqizoda Z.A. expressed gratitude for mutually beneficial cooperation and asked to increase assistance in the issues of digitalization of the economy, digital trade, simplification of trade procedures and other priority areas that were supported.
