Participation of the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade in the 5th Istanbul Economic Summit

On December 10, 2021, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali left for Istanbul, Turkey, to participate in the 5th Istanbul Economic Summit.

The event was organized under the name "Green Economy" and included such topics as "The importance of the Sustainable Development Goals of the green economy", "The process of change and transformation of global renewable energy", "The impact of ecotourism on the economy, social and cultural life", "Changing the mobile ecosystem and the future of our autonomy", "Transformation of electrification in the automotive industry", "How are green circulation and green financing changing the balance of the global economy? " and "A new balance in the broken supply chain with Covid-19."

In the relevant panels, Abdurahmonzoda A.S. provided the participants with specific information about 4 global humanitarian initiatives proposed by the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon on water issues, in particular, Tajikistan's proposal to declare an International Decade of Action, "Water for Sustainable Development 2018-2028", as well as a proposal to declare 2025 the "International Year of Glacier Protection" and create a special International Fund for Glacier Protection.

At the same time, Abdurahmonzoda A.S. informed about the significant achievements of the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of e-commerce and digitalization of the economy, and also invited participants, investors and representatives of international organizations to participate in priority investment projects in the country.
