Meeting of the Minister of Economic Development and Trade with the delegation of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in the Republic of Tajikistan and specialists in the field of digitalization and digital economy of the Republic of Korea

On January 12, 2023, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zavqizodа Zavqi Amin met with a delegation from the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in the Republic of Tajikistan and specialists in the field of digitalization and digital economy of the Republic of Korea, within which issues of expansion and development of the digital economy and digitalization were discussed sectors of the national economy, including the digitalization of strategic planning and macroeconomic forecasting systems.

Zavqizoda Z. A. noted that thanks to the wise and far-sighted policy of the leaders of the two countries, the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon and the President of the Republic of Korea, relations between the two countries are developing.

During the meeting, the achievements of the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of digital economy, artificial intelligence, information technologies were discussed, and the Concept for the formation of e-government in the Republic of Tajikistan, the Concept of the digital economy in the Republic of Tajikistan and the Medium-term program for the development of the digital economy in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025 were presented. representatives of the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) in the Republic of Tajikistan.

At the same time, Zavqizoda Z.A., in connection with the development of the digital economy, the creation of the Center "Digitalization of the system of strategic planning and macroeconomic forecasting", specific proposals were made on the implementation of the Medium-Term Program for the Development of the Digital Economy in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025, and the introduction of a modern electronic document management systems.

The meeting was held in an open, friendly and constructive atmosphere, the parties expressed their readiness to implement the issues noted.
